Ordering and delivery
Placing an order with us is very easy. You can order your product by telephone, by e-mail, post or via the web shop.
When placing your order you can indicate that you want to pick up the product in our store in Nieuwegein.
We can also send the product to you. For this we use the parcel post from PostNL. All orders are insured and sent by registered mail. Free.

After receiving your order we will send you a confirmation.
Order in the webshop
You can easily place your order in the Smits Philately webshop. In a few steps you decide what you want and how you want to pay:
Step 1:Place a product in your shopping basket by pressing the green order button.
Step 2:Once you have finished shopping, open the shopping basket
You will always find this at the top right of the page. Click on it.
Step 3:You see on the right side of which your order exists. Is it right?
Then click on the green checkout button.
Step 4:Enter your personal and address details and select the shipping method.
Step 5:Choose how you want to pay (see Payment methods) and finish the order.
When you have completed all the steps of the ordering process and you have placed the order, you will receive an e-mail from us within a few minutes with a confirmation of your order. If you have not received it, please contact us.
When you have chosen ‘pick-up’ as the shipping method, we will reserve the product for you for a period of 7 days. You can pay for the product when you pick it up in our store in Nieuwegein.
If you are unable to collect the product within 7 days, please let us know.
We ship your order no later than 1 working day after we have received your order and payment. If we have received your payment before 17:00, we will send the package the same day. Orders received after 17:00 will be sent the next business day.
We use the PostNL parcel service to send the orders. All packages are insured and sent by registered mail.
We do not charge any costs for sending your order.
Status of your order
After the package has left our warehouse, you will receive an email with the shipping confirmation and the track & trace code from PostNL. Via this code you can see on the website of PostNL on which day and in what time frame your package will be delivered.
Not at home?
If you are not present, you will receive a note with instructions for scheduling a new delivery date. The package is sent by registered mail and may therefore never be delivered to the neighbors.
